Working well with others

Forum Training are long time members of The Three Counties Consortium which comprises a unique and innovative mix of FE and Private providers.

Jointly they have achieved considerable success in engaging employees through employers, using a mix of European Social Fund (ESF), Train to Gain (TtG), and other funding streams, together with commercial activity to deliver high quality learning programmes. Providing a unique mix of funding options, the Consortium seeks to maximise the availability of a broad range of learning provision, using public sector funding and commercial financing.

HWSTPA is a group training association made up of some 36 private and college work based training providers our remit is to support, promote and develop the work based sector [Apprenticeships, Train to gain, pre employment and school vocational programmes].

Our day to day involvement revolves around bringing providers together in collaborative bidding groups to tender for ESF/Train to gain contracts, organising staff development and training events in conjunction with Warwick University and quality improvement briefing sessions in conjunction with the Learning skills support network.

Apart from that we represent providers on a multitude of forums and working parties from Local authority 14-19 management groups, local and West Midlands regional review groups and of course the emerging National Apprenticeship service.
