Emergency First Aid at Work

The RAC have found that on average of approximately £1.6 million injuries occur in the work place each year and there are about 2.2 million cases of ill health caused or made worse by work. This contributes to over 30 million working days bring lost annually through workplace accidents, injuries and ill health, which can cost Britain’s employers up to £6.5 billion every year. When these kinds of accidents occur in the workplace, it can be life threatening if there isn’t an ‘appointed person’ to take charge of the situation.
