Abrasive Wheels

Working within the construction industry can be a dangerous business without the correct training and observation of the correct procedures. This course aims to outline the possible dangers of mounting abrasive wheels and the precautions that need to be taken. It aims to ensure that operatives and supervisors are fully aware of the health and safety aspects of using machines in accordance with regulations, codes of practice and manufacturers instructions.

  • Identification and wheel speeds and types
  • Use of machines
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Completion Objectives
Each delegate will be required to mount an abrasive wheel and go through the use of the machine.
