The workshop is designed to provide delegates with the knowledge and skills to understand the principles and methodology of risk assessment and their practical application to processes involving potential exposure to chemical and other hazardous substances. Work processes that involve the use or generation of chemicals or other hazardous substances can have a significant effect on people’s health. Employers and self employed people are required to eliminate, reduce or control exposure to hazardous substances to prevent ill health.
