With many new entrants joining the construction industry is it very important that these individuals are made aware of the issues they might be faced with when entering site.

Outline of the day
Along with a basic overview on what happens on a construction site the delegate will be given an overview on CSCS (Constriction Skills Certification Scheme) and tool box talks.
Completion Objectives
  • Understand what happens on a construction site and how they are ran
  • Understand why they are carrying out their identified duties
  • Know what is expected of them
  • Ensure they contribute to the safety of the themselves and others in workplace
  • Be aware of the Health and Safety at Work Act
  • Understand what Tool Box Talks are and why it is important they are used
  • Understand the CSCS process and prepare operatives for the Health and Safety touch screen test
