Manual Handling

Did you know that one third of all workers absence in the UK is accounted for by back problems? There are 1000 manual handling accidents reported each week, and 5.5 million working days are lost each year. This is why it is essential to train staff to handle objects correctly, in order to reduce the risk of injury at work. Training your staff could ultimately save your company time and money. This course provides an insight into the risks associated with moving and handling and teaches safer lifting and carrying techniques.
